The Facial Exercise

If you have a fat face for any reason, you may need facial exercise. This form of exercise has become a popular solution to people with fat faces, and in many cases it works well in toning facial muscles, and giving faces a slimmer look. The facial exercise can be the best solution for you if you have a chubby face but are of normal weight and height or are underweight. If you have a fat face, and are also overweight or obese, it is recommended that you lose overall body weight first before focusing on your face.

When you lose weight in your body, you will be losing it from all parts of your body including your face. You may get down to your desired or healthy weight for your age and height, and realize that you have a thin face to begin with, and it was just fat because you too were fat. You do, however have the option of doing facial exercise along with your other exercise routine for losing overall body weight. This can be done as one whole exercise routine, and give you may be happier with these results. The choice of course is yours.

Facial exercise works like other forms of anaerobic exercise, which means no oxygen is involved. It’s like lifting weights or doing crunches. You are exercising your facial muscles in order to decrease fat, and strengthen and tone the muscle. The same way lifting weights can define your biceps, facial exercise will give the result of a slimmer and more well defined face. This doesn’t mean that aerobic exercise, or exercise that requires oxygen and more popularly known as cardiovascular exercise or cardio, should be ignored. A healthy balance of aerobic and anaerobic exercise is what every person needs everyday. Plus aerobic exercise will actually help decrease the fat in your face because it slowly decreases fat from all of the body’s fat stores, face included.

It was important to highlight aerobic exercise because people who focus on anaerobic exercising only tend to build too much muscle (think Mr. Universe or body builders), which can also happen to your face though not in the degree that muscle builds in the body. That being said, there is some importance to having fat. Fat is the body’s stores of energy, and it is there for a reason. You need a little bit of fat in your body in order to be healthy. Fat actually makes you look younger. People who are incredibly thin look a little sick, and if your face is too thin and gaunt you will look older than you may be. Though facial exercise is here to help tone your face, remember to always keep a bit of plumpness so that you still look young and healthy.

Finally, facial exercise, like all forms of exercise should be coupled with the right diet. It is useless to exercise and try to tone your body if you continue to eat high in fat, high in sodium, and low in nutrition foods. Your exercise regimen should involve eating healthy foods, rich in fiber, good protein, vitamins, and good fat. Following this, your facial exercise will be able to work at its best, and give you the results you want!
