Fish and Water Wonders

No matter what kind of body type you have, you will greatly benefit from both fish and water. Both of these are often overlooked in daily diets, and they're actually two things that are needed in order to maintain good health. They tend to bring out the best in your body, while flushing out toxins and waste. Let's look at each one in detail. Fish is an essential protein that our body needs, but sadly, does not get enough of.

Usually when the word protein is mentioned, people immediately think of beef and pork. While beef and pork are good sources of protein, and everyone does benefit from a little red meat every now and then, beef and pork are commonly cooked in less than healthy manners. What's more, a constant diet of beef and pork can increase your unhealthy cholesterol levels, making you more prone to cardiovascular diseases.

Chicken and poultry are usually next on everyone's protein lists. These are often followed by game meats such as lamb and deer. Again, these meats are good when eaten sparingly. Many times their method of cooking is unhealthy. Usually meats such as beef, pork, chicken, and game are chosen because they are easy to eat and are the meats people grew up eating in their homes.

As mentioned, eating these protein sources are fine, for as long as they are done in moderation and for as long as healthy ways of cooking the meat are applied. There are tons of healthy recipes for these meats, and all you need is a little time and a little bit of research. However, you should only try to eat these meats 20% of the week. That means if you eat three square meals a day, you should only eat meat four or five times out of your twenty‐one meals in a week. The rest of the time you should choose fish.

The essential fats, namely omega3, found in fish have been known to work wonders for a person's health. First, it lowers your bad cholesterol levels and boosts you good cholesterol levels. This gives your heart an easier time when it does its job of pumping and distributing blood throughout the body. This means you have a healthier heart! When your heart has an easier job and is healthy, your other organs will benefit from it as well.

Next, eating fish builds good cell membranes around each of the cells in your body. Having good and strong cell membranes means your cells have an easier time and are more efficient at absorbing nutrients and flushing out toxins. You will see the effects of this on your skin. Because your body is flushing out toxins at a faster rate, your skin will glow. Healthy cells make your skin glow and look younger, and it also boosts your skin complexion and elasticity! Fish makes you beautiful!
