In order to successfully tone your face and get the chiseled features you want, you have to come up with a facial toning system that both protects your skin and won’t fatigue your muscles. Many times people get so focused on just losing the face weight that they forget about the other things that need to be done in order to protect your face for the future. Remember that coming up with a facial toning system that will give you your desired features, but still protect your muscles and skin is the kind of facial toning system you want!
It is important to first understand what facial toning is all about. Facial toning is similar to toning regular muscles. It stretches, strengthens, and works out the muscles of your face in order to lose unwanted weight. It defines your facial features and muscles giving you a more chiseled look. Much like lifting weights to tone your arms of unwanted fat, your facial muscles will lose the fat, but the muscles will also grow. Though it will not bulge to the extent that arm muscles can bulge because facial muscles are a different type of muscle, your facial muscles can become slightly bigger.
Apart from bulging, muscles tend to get fatigued. If you’ve ever had a good work out at the gym, you should know the feeling of how muscles get tired and seemingly “burn” unless rested. This is because as a muscle gets exercised, an acid build up happens in the muscle. Muscles need oxygen and need to release the built up acid. This is why you get the “burning” feeling. The same thing happens to the muscles in your face when you do face exercises. Also, like with all other muscles, the skin surrounding the muscle gets stretched and stressed, and stretch marks or wrinkles can form.
Because of the muscle fatigue and skin stretching that come with typical facial exercises, you need to add three features to your facial toning system. Doing exercises is not enough. You also have to keep yourself well hydrated. Drinking a lot of water will help keep your muscles happy with oxygen, and it can also help lose some of the excess weight! Water is a great feature to any exercise regimen, and since you should be doing some cardiovascular exercises to go along with your facial exercises, water is vital to your facial toning system.
The other two features to add to your facial toning system is to keep your skin well moisturized and to massage your face. The moisturizer or creams you use on your skin will do for your skin what the water does for your muscles (though the water should help your skin too.) It will keep your skin supple and smooth and reduce the chances of getting wrinkles or stretch marks due to exercises. When applying moisturizer, gently massage your face and the muscles you are trying to work out. Remember to always massage in an upward motion to prevent the skin from wrinkling or sagging. This will help work out the built up acid, and it can be a light exercise on its own too!
Add these three features to your facial toning system and feel the difference in your face exercises as well as your skin! You will have your beautifully tone face with perfect skin!
