Benefits of Fruits and Vegetables to Our Skin

Like water, fruits and vegetables are two things our mothers, grandmothers, and doctors have been trying to stuff down our throats for years! And with good reason! Fruits and vegetables are two food groups that help our bodies in amazing ways. Now, we will see how they can help solve our fat face problems as well.

First of all, vegetables are filled with nutrients, vitamins, and enzymes that our bodies and skin needs in order to stay healthy and work well. What's more is that these vitamins and nutrients work at protecting our bodies from any future disease by building our immune system up to its peak. Many illnesses such as cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, and cancer can be prevented by a good daily dose of fruit and vegetables.

Because we want to know how fruits and vegetables benefit our skin, and how it can help solve our facial fat problem, we will look at the two food groups in terms of color. The different colors that fruits and vegetables come in signal to us what they can do for our bodies, skin, and facial fat.

First let’s look at the green fruits and vegetables. Remember this phrase: “green cleans” because that is exactly what this color does. Like water, green fruits and vegetables, especially green leafy vegetables are filled with fiber that cleans our systems. Because of this cleansing process, we lose the unneeded fat in our faces and bodies. It all gets flushed out with toxins. Imagine what happens if you eat green fruits and vegetables, fish, and drink water all the time. You will have a slimmer more beautiful face in no time!

Apart from that benefit, however, green fruits and vegetables are great at fighting off free radicals and building our immune system against cancer. It helps control our digestion, making sure we only eat enough which can also help reduce body fat. What's more is that like fish, it lowers our blood pressure and bad cholesterol levels while strengthening our bones!

Next, we have the yellows and oranges. Yellow and orange fruits and vegetables contain beta‐carotene, lycopene, and vitamin C! These all help lower cholesterol levels, fight free radicals and cancer, as well as build healthy bones. More important to our facial problems, however is that fruits and vegetables that are colored yellow and orange boost our skin’s collagen formation or production.
